1. About these terms
These terms and conditions apply to your use of the BisAcc Bookkeeping website at bisacc.co.za, and to enquiries and quotes for our services. By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the website.
In these terms, "BisAcc", "we", "us" and "our" mean BisAcc Bookkeeping, a trading name of Roxanne De Coning (sole proprietor), and "you" means the person using the website or asking about our services.

3. Information on this website
The content on this website is general information about bookkeeping and our services. It is not financial, tax, legal or investment advice, and it doesn't take your particular circumstances into account. Please don't act on it without getting advice specific to your business.
We work to keep the website accurate and up to date, but we can't guarantee that all information is complete, current or error-free, or that the website will always be available.
4. Our services and tax partner
BisAcc provides bookkeeping services, as described on our Services page.
BisAcc does not itself submit tax returns to the South African Revenue Service (SARS). VAT, PAYE and income tax submissions are handled by our independent, registered tax practitioner partner. Tax services are quoted separately and may be subject to our partner's own terms of engagement.
5. Prices and quotes
- Prices on this website are in South African Rand (ZAR). They are monthly prices for the scope of each package as described on our Pricing page.
- Website prices are a guide. Your actual fees are confirmed in a written quote, usually after a free consultation and file review.
- Whether VAT applies to our fees will be shown on your quote.
- Work outside a package's scope is quoted separately. This includes extra transactions or accounts, catch-up and cleanup work, inventory, multiple entities, payroll, year-end work and tax services.
- We may change the prices shown on this website at any time. This won't affect fees already agreed with you in writing, which can only change as set out in your engagement letter.
6. Becoming a client
Our services start once we have both agreed to a written engagement letter or service agreement. That document sets out the specific services, fees, payment terms, responsibilities and notice periods. If it conflicts with these website terms, the engagement letter or service agreement applies.
To deliver accurate books on time, we rely on you to:
- give us complete, accurate and timely information and records;
- tell us about changes to your business that affect your books; and
- review the reports we provide and raise any questions promptly.
Report delivery dates, such as "by the 15th", depend on us receiving your records and bank feeds by the dates agreed in your engagement letter. You remain responsible for your business decisions and for the accuracy of the source information you provide.
7. Accounting software
Our packages include a QuickBooks Online subscription at the plan level shown on our Pricing page. QuickBooks Online is provided by Intuit, and its use is also subject to Intuit's own terms of service. If you use other accounting software, such as Xero, Sage or Pastel, the subscription arrangements will be set out in your quote.
8. Contacting us
The contact form on our website opens your own email app with a message addressed to us. We only receive your enquiry once you send that email. Messages sent by email or WhatsApp are not guaranteed to be completely secure, so please don't send passwords, PINs or one-time PINs (OTPs). We will never ask for them.
Contacting us, or receiving a quote, doesn't create a client relationship until an engagement letter or service agreement is in place.
9. Intellectual property
The content of this website, including text, graphics, the BisAcc name and logo, and the website design, belongs to BisAcc or is used with permission. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce or republish any content without our written permission.
10. Third-party websites and services
This website links to, or uses, third-party services such as WhatsApp, Google Fonts and QuickBooks Online. We don't control these services and aren't responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Your use of them is subject to their own terms.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, BisAcc is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this website, your reliance on its general information, or the website being unavailable.
Our liability for bookkeeping services is governed by your engagement letter or service agreement.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
12. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy and POPIA page explain how we handle your personal information, and they form part of these terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated at the top. If you have any questions, please contact us.
